Additional Notes: In preparation for NMBR’s next truck build, the purpose-built, well-traveled, and well-sorted NMBR Prospector Power Wagon is up for sale. This truck was purchased new by NMBR and outfitted by American Expedition Vehicles in 2017. The truck has been primarily used for NMBR’s full-sized truck (based) fieldwork (wildfire to scouting), guiding, and training across the backroads of New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. While the NMBR Prospector has been well-used, the truck has [also] been well-maintained to ensure maximum reliability, capability, and performance in remote and rugged settings. Example imperfections and signs of the truck’s age/use include light pinstripes in the paint's clear-coat; a few small rock chips on bumpers, hood and side panels; small wrinkles on leather seating; minor/light scuffs/scratches on interior door panels' plastic/trim; and some dull/faded finishes (on some of the exterior powder coated surfaces and exterior plastics such as the front bumper and door handles). Even with these listed "imperfections", buyers will be hard pressed to find a well-equipped 2016 AEV Prospector Power Wagon in better condition.
All aftermarket parts/equipment/upgrades listed are included within the sales price. This truck is being sold as a complete turn-key backcountry fieldwork or expedition truck; the parts/equipment/upgrades listed will not be removed to reduce sales price or for individual sale. This truck is being sold “as is” with no warranty (written or implied). All exterior NMBR graphics will be professionally removed prior to sale. A new (uninstalled) AEV windshield banner is being included with sale.
Mechanical Notes: Within the last 3,000 miles, the truck’s steering box, pitman arm, draglink, passenger-side knuckle, front track-bar, rear track-bar, heater core, and shocks have been replaced. The General Grabber X3 tires are newly installed. The transmission was replaced around 61,000 miles with a complete Jasper unit. The truck has no known issues other than the rear back-up sensors do not work. The back-up sensors and wire harness were replaced but this did not resolve the issue. Further steps were not taken as the truck is equipped with a back-up camera and a button (under the radio) allows for deactivation of the parking sensors.
Additional Items Included with Sale: The factory/original tailgate with AEV Prospector badging (removed for Snugtop Outback installation) and factory/original back seat and seat belts (removed for Goose Gear Rear Seat Delete and Back Wall installation) will be included with sale.
